Mowing By Robert Frost Paraphrase
Mowing By Robert Frost
Pharaphrase of the Stanzas
Stanza. 1: Lines 1-6
There was completely silence in the jungle except of one sound and that was the sound of my sickle. My sickle produced sound when it touched the ground and talked to grass. I am unable to understand its talk with the grass. I could not imagine this talk or whispering. It might have been talking about the warmth of the sun or the serenity of surroundings.
Stanza. 2: Lines 7-14
This talk or whispering is not an idle dream. It was a real work which could be done. It was not a fanciful idea or fairy tale to tell. It was the sweetest dream that labour knew. Importance of hard work should be given due place and importance. Weak and fragile thorns of flowers frightened the bright green snake but I was not involved in it. The hard work brought the most satisfying dream to be fulfilled. My long sickle was on its work and left behind freshly cut grass.
